Dr Michael Nigro BDS (rand)
Michael is a senior partner and practices at Roseneath on a full time basis. He qualified in 1992 from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. In 1995 Michael, along with Kieryn Smart, purchased Roseneath Dental Practice. His clinical interests include cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, implantology, invisalign and anti-ageing facial treatments. Michael, along with the rest of the dental team, regularly attends courses and seminars to ensure that the treatments and materials used are the most up to date available, thereby ensuring the best possible care for their patients. Dentistry aside, Michael enjoys sport, travel and spending time entertaining family and friends. He is keen on keeping fit and enjoys running, cycling and tennis. Spending time in Italy (where his family originate from) and enjoying the beautiful remote parts of Africa are among his passions. Michael is a keen cook and reckons his homemade authentic Neapolitan pizzas are among the best around !
Dr Kieryn Smart BDS (Rand)
Kieryn is a Senior Partner and has been practising on a full-time basis at Roseneath since 1995. He qualified in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1992. Kieryn is passionate about dentistry and being a dentist. His particular interests are smile make-overs and mouth rebuilds encompassing life-like porcelains and cutting edge implant dentistry. Kieryn's other great mission is treating children, in particular jaw and face growth and development in young patients. Starting from early interceptive orthopaedic development of the jaws and face, early treatment of dental habits and their effects on speech through to full orthodontic treatments. Out of surgery Kieryn enjoys travelling to the Dolomites of Northern Italy with his Italian wife and two young sons. He enjoys sport and the outdoor life, pursuing winter and summer sports and activities. Enjoying life and capturing it on film with photography.
Dr Colin
Maher BDS (Cork)
Colin is a senior associate and practices on a full time basis at Roseneath. He graduated from University College, Cork, Ireland and has been a part of the Roseneath team since 2004. Colin regularly attends courses on the latest techniques and is proud to provide his patients with cutting edge dentistry. He has undertaken cosmetic dentistry courses in London as well as New York. He undertook his implant training with the Oxford Society of Implantology which involved spending time studying at the University of Lille, France. Colin is extremely popular with his patients largely due to his Irish charm and friendly manner. In his spare time he enjoys following rugby and he is a keen Munster supporter. He enjoys travelling but also loves Richmond and its beautiful park.
Dr Fabrizio Castellari BDS (rand) DRDP (London)
Fabrizio is a senior associate and practices at Roseneath on a full time basis. He qualified in 1997 from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and moved to the UK where he started his professional career. In 2006 he completed a post graduate diploma in Restorative Dental Practice with the Eastman Dental Institute in London. He enjoys all branches of dentistry, with particular interests in surgical and cosmetic procedures, smile design and non invasive facial cosmetic procedures (Dermal fillers and Botox). He speaks four languages, some better than others. Sport, travelling, music and art take up most of his spare time.

Amongst the adult population in the UK, gum disease is the greatest threat to your teeth, claiming responsibility for a staggering 75% of all tooth loss. Maureen, Helen, Sam and Sarah play a central role in helping our patients keep their teeth for life. They can see where the plaque and calculus has built up on your teeth, and can give your teeth a professional clean to remove it. They are also expert in advising on additional cleaning methods to help combat gum disease.
Our Team of Nurses
Anna, Alex, Anna and Marta are our team of qualified dental nurses. They provide the professional support service to the dentists and ensure that our patients visits to Roseneath are as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Kim, Sandra, Sue and Gosia ensure that everything at the practice runs smoothly and always aim to provide a first class customer experience for all of our patients.
