Dr Michael Nigro
BDS (Rand)

Michael is a senior partner and practices on a full time basis at Roseneath. He qualified in 1992 from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. After starting his career as an associate dentist in North London, a partnership at a practice in Hertfordshire soon followed. In 1995 Michael became a partner at Roseneath. He loves all aspects of general dentistry. He particularly enjoys the more challenging areas of dentistry including root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry and tooth replacement using implants. Away from the surgery Michael relaxes on the tennis court.
   

Dr Kieryn Smart
BDS (Rand)

Kieryn is a senior partner and practices on a full time basis at Roseneath. He qualified in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1992. He began his career in London after qualifying and joined Roseneath as a partner in 1995. Kieryn is passionate about dentistry and being a dentist. His particular interests are smile make-overs and mouth rebuilds encompassing life-like porcelains and cutting edge implant dentistry. Out of the surgery Kieryn enjoys travelling to Italy with his Italian wife. He enjoys sport and the outdoors and most spare time is spent horse riding.
   

Dr Karl Johnston
BDS (Otago)

Karl is a senior associate and practices on a full time basis at Roseneath. He graduated in 1994 from Otago University, New Zealand. Karl spent the first three years of his working career in private practice in New Zealand. In 1997 he relocated to the UK to take up an associate position and has remained with us since then. He has a keen interest in endodontics (root canal therapy), cosmetic dentistry and has studied dental implant placement in Sweden. Karl is a member of the London Dental Study Club. Karl is also skilled in facial rejuvenation using Botox®, dermal fillers and other skin enhancing treatments. When not in the surgery, Karl can be found on the golf course or on a squash court.
   

Dr Colin Maher
BDS (Cork)

Colin is a senior associate and practices on a full time basis at Roseneath. He graduated in 1998 from University College, Cork, Ireland. Since graduation Colin has held associate positions in both Australia and the UK, gaining much valuable experience. He enjoys attending study courses and learning the newest techniques. Colin has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics and implants. He is a keen sports fan with a particular love of rugby.

Amongst the adult population in the UK, gum disease is the greatest threat to your teeth, claiming responsibility for a staggering 75% of all tooth loss. The hygiene team at Roseneath play a central role in helping our patients to keep their teeth for life. They can see where the plaque and calculus has built up on your teeth, and can give your teeth a professional clean to remove it. They are also expert in advising on additional cleaning methods to help combat gum disease.
